Korean Blue and White Porcelain Teacup

This gorgeous Korean Teacup was made by Korean artisan Sun Suk Jeen. It's shape resembles two nodes of bamboo and the cobalt blue glaze resembles a grove of bamboo. It has a rim of hand applied gold to it. The maker carved his name in the bottom beautifully, but I am unable to get it to show up in a photograph. This piece comes in a custom wooden box specifically made for it.

I have some information on Sun Suk Jeen. He graduated from the Seoul National University from the department of ceramic arts. He then went on to study at the National University of Fine Arts and Music. He has had exhibitions throughout China and Korea. A pamphlet on the artist will come with this teacup.
