Zisha Ruyi Tea Canister
This handsome Zisha Tea Canister is as beautiful as it is functional. It is ideal for storing Puer and Black teas. It was made in Yixing, China's Zisha production area. The canister has stylized ruyi designs on it. A ruyi is a Chinese scepter which symbolizes luck. It was often given as a gift from China's emperors to officials who had some meritorious deeds. On the lid of the tea canister is a polished brass handle. It is a reproduction of Chinese traditional door handles.
