Zisha Ruyi Tea Canister
This great zisha tea canister was made in Yixing, China's zisha production center. It is ideal for storing puer tea because of the porousness of the clay. It allows air to circulate around the tea. On the lid of this tea canister is a ruyi, an ancient symbol of luck in China. In China's dynastic periods, it was a gift given by the emperor to officials who had done meritorious deeds.
