. That being said, it is the most widely drunk beverage in the rest of the world. The category known as "Red Tea" in China is known as "Black Tea" in the western world. Famous teas such as Earl Grey, English Breakfast Tea, and Irish Breakfast Tea originated in China and were originally called Red Teas. These teas have robust flavors with hints of fruit, flowers, or honey, depending on the variety you drink.
